The 3rd Annual Assembly will be held on April 11-12, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The two day event featured the Grants Committee meeting, a Kids' Chance Committee meeting, the Annual Fellows Membership Meeting, and the Board of Directors meeting. The Annual Assembly culminated with the 27th Annual Fellows Gala on April 12. At this black tie celebration we will honor the 2012 Distinguished Jurist, Attorney, Professor, and Calogero Justice Award recipient. The evening will include dinner, music, and a live auction. The LBF 2013-14 officers will be installed.

Thursday, April 11

2 p.m.	Grants Committee Meeting Bolden 3, Level Two Presiding: C. Wendell Manning (open to Grants Committee members) Recommendations on 2013-14 grant funding will be finalized for board approval.
2 p.m.	Kids' Chance Committee Meeting Strand 7, Level Two Presiding: Michelle Sorrells and Sherry Watters (open to Kids' Chance Committee members) Recommendations on 2013-14 scholarships will be finalized for board approval.

Friday, April 12

10 a.m.	Board of Directors Meeting Imperial 12, Level Four Presiding: Patricia A. Krebs (open to LBF Board of Directors and Executive Staff) LBF business will be handled including the 2013-14 grant awards.
Noon	Annual Fellows Membership Meeting Celestin Ballroom, Level Three Presiding: Patricia A. Krebs (open to all Fellows and honorees) Recognition of Distinguished Honorees and Calogero Justice Award recipients. Fellows are updated on LBF activities and elect new board members. President's Award is presented and recognition is given to Community Partnership Panel and committee chairs.
7 p.m.	27th Annual Fellows Gala Empire A & B, Level Two Presiding: Patricia A. Krebs (ticketed event) This black tie event includes: - the Patron Party; - seated dinner and live auction; - 2012 Distinguished Jurist, Attorney, Professor, and Calogero Justice Award presentations; - installation of the 2013-14 officers; and - live music and dancing.
