Advancing Equal Justice and law-related education through Fellowship


Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Program

AmeriCorps Legal Fellows assist underserved clients in coordination with law student and attorney volunteers. They collaborate with community legal aid providers, colleagues and law schools to ensure quality pro bono opportunities.

Fellows also organize campus-based events at LSU and Southern Law Centers to build relationships with student groups, professors and law school administrators to raise awareness of their work. Events may focus on the importance of pro bono work and considering a public interest career path.
