The Louisiana Workers' Compensation Corporation (LWCC) held its annual golf tournament on September 26, donating all proceeds to the Louisiana Bar Foundation (LBF) Kids' Chance Scholarship Program. Kids' Chance provides scholarships to dependents of workers who are permanently and totally disabled or killed in a work-related accident that is compensable under a state or federal Workers' Compensation Act or law.

At a ceremony prior to the golf tournament mock checks were presented to scholarship recipients.

For eight years the LBF Kids' Chance Program has been the recipient of the LWCC golf tournament proceeds. All money raised goes to the Scholarship Fund.
