Outstanding Law Student Volunteer Award Criteria

Current law student in the Baton Rouge area.

Law student volunteered over 50 hours.

Displayed professional and ethical conduct.

Quality of hours volunteered will also be considered. Quality will be determined by the number of clients assisted, the weight of the client’s issue, and/or the hours of research necessary for the project.

Demonstrated strong interest in pursuing a career in public interest.

Hours will be calculated between May 1st and April 30th.
