Outstanding Law Student Volunteer Award Winner
Caroline F. Johnson devoted over 110 hours of volunteer service to several PBLC projects from May 1st of 2006 to April 30th of 2007. In addition to her work on the Road Home Project, Capital Area Legal Services Corporation’s Afternoon Internship project, and the Baton Rouge Capital Conflict Office research project, Caroline was a huge supporter of the PBLC program by actually recruiting other law students to join. Caroline also scheduled a meeting with Betsy Irving, the Executive Director of Louisiana Delta Service Corps, an AmeriCorps program in the Baton Rouge area, at the Baton Rouge offices. The grandest of Caroline's accomplishments this year has been her work with the New Orleans Pro Bono Project’s Succession Project. Since the beginning of January, during her winter break, Caroline has devoted over 78 hours specifically to this project. This summer, she will be interning at the New Orleans Pro Bono Project where she will continue to work on these files. Carloine has been an outstanding law student volunteer this year.
