Golf Tournament Benefits LBF Kids’ Chance Program

The Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation (LWCC) held its annual golf tournament on October 15 donating all proceeds to the Louisiana Bar Foundation (LBF) Kids’ Chance Scholarship Program. Kids’ Chance provides scholarships to dependents of workers who are permanently and totally disabled or killed in a work-related accident that is compensable under a state or federal Workers’ Compensation Act or law.

At a ceremony prior to the golf tournament, Elwood F. Cahill, Jr., LBF President presented mock checks to scholarship recipients and a certificate of appreciation to Kristin W. Wall, President and CEO of LWCC.

For four years the LBF Kids’ Chance Program has been the recipient of the LWCC golf tournament proceeds. All money raised goes to the Scholarship Fund.
